Jet2 will operate a series of dedicated flights and trips to Iceland, giving customers and independent travel agents more choice when it comes to seeing the spectacular Northern Lights, cityscape of Reykjavik, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls.

Customers travelling from Newcastle Airport can choose from ten dedicated trips, and a series of three-night trips departing on a Monday or four-night trips departing on a Thursday.

All flights to Keflavik International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by, and the full programme from Newcastle Airport features ten trips in total. The trips commence Monday, October 3 (three-night trip); Thursday, October 27 (four-night trip); Monday, October 31 (three-night trip); Monday, February 13 (three-night trip); Thursday, February 23 (four-night trip); Thursday, March 2 (four-night trip); Thursday, March 16 (four-night trip); Monday, March 27 (three-night trip); Monday, April 10 (three-night trip) and Thursday, April 13 (four-night trip).

Customers can select from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with including 22kg hold luggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik. In addition, excursions to the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and South Shore are also available.
