Tui Group is on an ambitious quest to expand its hotel portfolio to 600 properties worldwide.

    • The expansion targets growth across Asia, with new Tui Blue hotels in China and Malaysia.
    • Tui’s strategy includes the introduction of hotels in Bangkok and Bali as future destinations.
    • The expansion highlights a strong demand for Tui Blue’s unique blend of leisure and local experiences.
    • Managing Director Artur Gerber emphasises Tui’s potential to enhance regional hospitality landscapes.

Tui Group has initiated an ambitious plan to expand its hotel portfolio to a total of 600 properties across the globe. This significant growth strategy focuses primarily on Asia, with the recent openings of new Tui Blue hotels in China and Malaysia. The introduction of these hotels marks Tui Blue’s debut in China, with three properties, and an entry into Malaysia with one.

Further strengthening its footprint in the region, Tui is poised to unveil additional Tui Blue hotels in key locations such as Bangkok and Bali. These expansions underscore Tui’s confidence in the burgeoning demand for its brand in fast-growing travel markets such as Southeast Asia.

Tui Blue Hotels & Resorts managing director, Artur Gerber, stated: “Our rapid expansion in China and Southeast Asia underscores the strong demand for the Tui Blue brand in these fast-growing travel markets.” His statement reflects the strategic vision of Tui to align with local hospitality needs and offer a distinct blend of leisure accommodations integrated with locally inspired experiences.

Tui Blue’s growth aligns with the broader strategy of the European travel group, aimed at enhancing their portfolio substantially. By expanding their offerings in attractive destinations across Asia, they intend to capture a larger share of the hospitality market. As they broaden their presence, the Tui Blue brand is anticipated to serve as a valuable addition to the region’s tourism landscape.
