Seabourn has revised its 2025 voyages to avoid the Red Sea, ensuring passenger safety amid regional tensions.

    • The Seabourn Encore’s new route will cover approximately 20,000 nautical miles, commencing in Singapore.
    • The itinerary now boasts 36 destinations, including 18 maiden calls and a historic first Panama Canal transit.
    • The revised schedule offers journeys ranging from seven to 53 days, incorporating stops across Southeast Asia, Japan, Hawaii, and Europe.
    • A promotional discount is available for early bookings, marking a proactive step in Seabourn’s strategic planning.

Seabourn has prioritised the safety of its passengers by rerouting the Seabourn Encore’s spring 2025 sailing. Concerns about the security situation in the Red Sea have prompted this change, leading to a new itinerary that avoids the troubled region altogether, thereby guaranteeing a safer journey for all aboard.

The updated itinerary features a substantial journey of nearly 20,000 nautical miles, beginning in Singapore and concluding in Dubrovnik. This expansive route incorporates a plethora of new and exciting destinations across four continents and two oceans. The Seabourn Encore will now make its way eastbound, a notable departure from its originally planned westbound route from Asia to Europe.

The newly structured voyage includes 36 destinations and 18 maiden calls, showcasing Seabourn’s commitment to offering unique experiences. The journey will include the vessel’s first-ever transit through the Panama Canal and its debut appearances in the United States, including stops in Hawaii, California, and Miami.

Voyages will range from short seven-day trips to extended journeys of up to 53 days, introducing travellers to experiences in Southeast Asia, Japan, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and the Mediterranean. A highlight is the 25-day Pacific crossing, traversing from Japan, through Hawaii, and terminating in California, followed by the Panama Canal passage.

Seabourn is offering a 10% discount on new bookings made by November 19 for these revised sailings. This incentive is designed to encourage early reservations and demonstrate Seabourn’s forward-thinking approach to travel planning. Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn, expressed enthusiasm about the new voyages, emphasising the line’s dedication to delivering unparalleled luxury and exclusive experiences for its guests.

Seabourn’s decisive action to adjust its itinerary exemplifies its commitment to passenger safety and innovative travel experiences.
