Classic Collection’s restructure underscores a commitment to trade.

    • The Classic Connect forum held in Andalusia gathered key industry players.
    • Si Morris-Green highlights the longstanding agent-friendly approach.
    • New strategies include enhanced marketing, incentives, and partnership.
    • Classic’s agile structure post-restructure aims to fortify agent support.

Classic Collection has reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining a strong focus on trade following a recent company restructure. During the inaugural Classic Connect forum, a new initiative held in Andalusia, the company brought together 16 key figures from the travel industry, including notable agencies such as Millington Travel, Not Just Travel, and Premier Travel.

The forum served as a platform for Classic Collection’s B2B director, Si Morris-Green, to reiterate the operator’s commitment to its trade partners. Morris-Green emphasised the importance of collaboration, stating, “Classic Connect will be an open and honest forum where agent and operator come together to exchange ideas, views and industry insights in a spirit of collaboration and co-operation.”

Morris-Green acknowledged the challenges faced during the transition following their restructure in May but assured that the company is now fully focused on trade-centric growth. Since the restructure, Classic Collection operates as a smaller, more agile business, strengthening its emphasis on supporting travel trade partners. The company plans to engage more deeply with agents through bespoke marketing support, fam trips, holiday giveaways, entertainment, and a robust incentive scheme.

Quarterly Classic Connect forums are set to take place in various locations across the UK and overseas. Each session will host 15 to 20 business owners and senior managers, alongside Classic’s management team members, aiming to strengthen relationships and explore collaborative opportunities.

The recent changes have positioned Classic Collection as a nimble organisation with a ‘laser-like’ focus on nurturing sales through strategic partnerships. By placing agents at the forefront, Classic Collection is committed to building enduring relationships, providing unparalleled service levels, and devising joint marketing ventures to drive growth.

Classic Collection’s renewed trade focus aims to enhance collaboration and drive success within the travel industry.
