The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) recently announced the inclusion of three prestigious cruise operators: Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Aqua Expeditions, and Aranui Cruises. With these new members, ECN expands its reach, delivering diverse and unique experiences to its clientele. This strategic move brings the total number of global expedition cruise operators within the network to 23.
The membership expansion into ECN is seen as a significant step forward in the world of expedition cruising. Chief Executive Akvile Marozaite remarked, “We are delighted to have three such outstanding and diverse expedition cruise operators joining the Expedition Cruise Network.” These new alliances cover a broad geographical area, from the South Pacific to polar regions, showcasing the network’s diverse offerings.

Nichola Absalom, Scenic UK’s sales and marketing managing director, highlighted the synergy between Scenic and ECN, noting their mutual aspirations to enhance understanding of the distinct nature of expedition cruising compared to mainstream offerings.
