    Highest-Rated Luxury Hotels in the World

    • Jaya House River Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia came first in the study with 96.81% of reviewers rating it five stars.
    • Banyan Tree Lang Co in Cu Du, Vietnam ranked second with 93.77% of reviewers rating it five stars.
    • Golden Temple Residence in Siem Reap, Cambodia came close behind in third with 93.19% of reviewers rating it five stars. 

    A new study has found that Jaya House River Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia is the highest-rated luxury hotel in the world according to online reviewers. 

    Online casino review site Turvallinen-kasino analysed Tripadvisor and Google reviews for 471 hotels around the world. The total number of five-star reviews on both Google and TripAdvisor were compared to the total number of reviews on both platforms. The percentage of “outstanding” five-star reviews was calculated for each location, and each was ranked from highest to lowest.  

    Jaya House River Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia came first in the study with 96.81% of reviewers rating it five stars. It has a combined total of 4,724 five-star reviews and 4,879 total reviews from both platforms. 96.33% of reviewers on Google gave it five stars, compared to 96.92% of reviewers on Tripadvisor. 

    The Jaya House River Park is a small, luxury five star hotel located in a peaceful spot alongside the Siem Reap River, with every room either having a balcony or direct garden and pool access. It also has swimming pools, a spa and an all-day restaurant. 

    Banyan Tree Lang Co in Cu Du, Vietnam ranked second with 93.77% of reviewers rating it five stars. It has a combined total of 6,548 five-star reviews and 6,983 total reviews from both platforms. Whilst 97.04% of reviewers on Google gave it five stars, only 89.32% of reviewers on Tripadvisor gave it five stars.

    The Banyan Tree Lang Co is a five star luxury hotel nestled between Hue and Da Nang, with luxurious all-pool villas and pristine beaches. It boasts a vast complex of Vietnamese royal architecture and is in walking distance of Cu Du’s centre. 

    Golden Temple Residence in Siem Reap, Cambodia came close behind in third with 93.19% of reviewers rating it five stars. It has a combined total of 3,729 five-star reviews and 4,001 total reviews from both platforms. 90.59% of reviewers on Google gave it five stars, compared to 93.61% of reviewers on Tripadvisor. 

    Golden Temple Residence is in the heart of Siem Reap, near the local night market. It is the flagship hotel of the Golden Temple Group, which has five properties around the city and offers 28 luxury guest rooms and suites with Angkorian-inspired décor. 

    Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand ranked fourth with 92.99% of reviewers rating it five stars. It has a combined total of 5,928 five-star reviews and 6,375 total reviews from both platforms. Whilst 93.94% of reviewers on Google gave it five stars, only 89.21% of reviewers on Tripadvisor gave it five stars. 

    Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok is situated in the city centre, with its top attractions only a short walk away. It has a luxury pool that overlooks the Langsuan oasis and other stylish facilities that channel the vibrant energy of Bangkok.  

    Ikos Aria in Kós, Greece came in fifth with 92.63% of reviewers rating it five stars. It has a combined total of 3,371 five-star reviews and 3,639 total reviews from both platforms. 85.71% of reviewers on Google gave it five stars, compared to 93.87% of reviewers on Tripadvisor.

    Ikos Aria offers blissful Aegean views and lush gardens, with over 47 acres of white sands and clear azure waters along the coastline. It has nine bars and eight restaurants to experience, along with plenty of family friendly attractions and facilities. 

    Markus Kanerva, CEO of Turvallinen-kasino commented on the findings: 

    “This study highlights the best luxury hotels across the world, according to guests and online reviewers. The stunning locations are often the main reasons why these hotels are so highly rated, either being close to a city centre or along the coastline, along with all the luxury facilities available onsite. 

    “Many of the top hotels also openly specify whether they are family friendly, allow pets, or are more suitable for couples. This means that guests can have a luxury holiday that is completely catered to their needs, as expected when considering the costs of staying at one of the highest rated hotels globally.”
