InteleTravel has expanded its head office team on the back of record sales and commission payments to agents.
Geraldine Nolan has been promoted to the newly created role of director, partner relations as InteleTravel’s 2025 Partner Engagement Programme gains momentum with a full calendar of confirmed activity for preferred partners.
Barbro Kurkov joins as marketing communications executive from Global Payment Solutions company Privalgo, reporting into Nolan.
Pearl Vora boosts the finance team as finance executive support, after gaining a Master of Sciences degree with a merit in finance and investments, reporting into head of finance, Chris Walsh.
The Republic of Ireland also sees the appointment of Ann-Marie Durkin into the new role of country manager. Durkin joins from Holiday Experts and Sunworld to bolster the commercial activity, reporting into UK & Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes.
In the UK, the homeworking giant has reported its best-ever trading month in October with sales up 95%, transactions up 86% and advisor commissions rising by 138%, compared with the same month last year.
For the year to date, sales are up 66% and average booking values are up 5% compared with the equivalent period in 2023.
Handley-Hughes said: “Our growth over the last 5 years has been beyond expectation, so the time is right to review the current structure. This expansion will help us achieve our 2025 vision and deliver our new training, recognition and reward programmes.”
Overall, 2024 has seen a record year of growth globally for the group, which is on target to achieve £1bn in sales in the calendar year.
