Hilton Worldwide, a US-based multi-national hotel corporation, will be opening a new Hilton brand hotel in Lima, Peru, by the end of this year.

The company has entered into a management agreement with JGJ Proyectistas SAC for the 207-room, Hilton Lima Miraflores, which is located 13 miles from the international airport in Lima.

Christopher J Nassetta, the company president and chief executive officer for Hilton Worldwide, said, ‘Hilton Worldwide is experiencing a period of remarkable global growth, with the highest growth rate of any major lodging company, the largest pipeline in the industry, and the largest Latin America expansion in our history. Peru, with its stable economy and continued growth, is a prime market for international travel, and we are delighted to be working with JGJ Proyectistas on bringing this exceptional property to one of Latin America’s most important cities.’

The hotel’s 207 rooms will include 45 executive rooms, 9 suites and a presidential suite, with Hilton Serenity Collection amenities. The other facilities will include event space for business travellers, inclusive of 9 meeting rooms, a business centre and a grand ballroom that will seat 350 people.

The resident amenities also include a full service restaurant, a lobby bar, and a sky terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a spa and a fitness centre by Precor.

The company currently owns around 50 hotels and resorts that are open to travellers in Latin America, while projects in the pipeline include new properties in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Panama.
