Tune Hotels, a Malaysia-based hospitality company, has opened its new property in London, Tune Hotel Paddington.
The a 137-room hotel is located near Paddington station, and is linked with London Heathrow Airport, by means of the Heathrow Express train service. This is the third property from the Tune Hotel brand in the city, after Tune Hotels Westminster and Tune Hotels Liverpool Street.
The hotel is to operate under a ‘Pay and Use’ concept, which offers only rooms for the nightly rates, and allows the guests flexibility to add the other amenities and services of the hotels to their expenses as and when they use them.
Guests need to pay extra for use of hotel amenities such in-room safe; entertainment packages on television; Wi-Fi connectivity; as well as bathroom amenities and housekeeping services.
The hotel accommodations include double, twin and accessible rooms, with an option of with or without windows. Guests at the hotel can access the in-house cafe, or eat at local bars and restaurants at discounted rates on showing their Tune Hotels key card.
The company chief executive officer, Mark Lankester, has confirmed that the company is in process of opening a hotel in Edinburgh in December 2012; and another property at Canary Wharf, London.
The company will be shortly opening its fourth property in London, on July 9, 2012. The hotel is located south of King’s Cross St Pancras station.
