Flybe, a UK-based airline company, has announced its new schedule for the summer of 2013, with new routes and extended services.
The airline is offering a new three times-weekly service from Southampton and a twice-weekly service from Exeter, both in the UK, to Barcelona, in Spain for the 2013 season, as well as one twice-weekly service from Exeter to Nice, in France. The services will be available from March 31, 2013.
The other new routes include Birmingham, in the UK, to Amsterdam, in The Netherlands; East Midlands, in the UK, to Amsterdam, Glasgow (Scotland), Jersey, and Paris Charles de Gaulle (France); and from Southampton, in the UK, to Nantes, in France.
Andrew Strong, the airline managing director, said, ‘We’re pleased to offer our customers such a wide choice of routes for next summer and that, due to popular demand, we’ve been able to continue operating so many of the new winter routes we’ve introduced for the upcoming season.
We are confident we have come up with summer travel options that are both extensive and affordable for summer 2013. We are also pleased that, through our many codeshare partners, our customers have even more travel choices that extend further our reach across Europe and the rest of the world.
This, combined with the new products we have recently introduced such as three new ticket options, mobile online booking and the dropping of all charges relating to debit card payments, will give travellers added incentive to plan their summer travels as early as possible, not the least of which is also to take advantage of the lowest possible fares.’
The airline’s 2013 summer schedule features over 120 routes, with a total choice of up to 2,774 flights every week to destinations in the UK and continental Europe.
