Ryanair, one of Europe’s leading low fares airlines, has launched its Edinburgh summer 2015 schedule with one new route to London Stansted (three times daily) and more flights and improved schedules on three other routes to Barcelona, Pisa and Rome.
Ryanair is the first airline in Scotland to launch its 2015 summer schedule, three months earlier than last year. The improved services will deliver 32 summer routes in total from Scotland, with a total of nearly two million customers per annum, and support up to 2,000 ‘on-site’ jobs at Edinburgh Airport.
Ryanair celebrated the launch of its Edinburgh summer 2015 schedule by releasing 100,000 seats for sale across its European network, at prices from £19.99 for travel in September, October and November, and available for booking until midnight Monday, September 1st.
Ryanair also launched its Glasgow summer 2015 schedules with nine new Glasgow International routes to Bydgoszcz, Carcassonne, Chania, Derry, Dublin, London Stansted, Riga, Warsaw Modlin and Wroclaw, and 16 Glasgow Prestwick routes, which together will deliver over 1.35m customers p.a. to/from Glasgow in total.
Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: ‘Scottish consumers already choose Ryanair for our low fares, industry leading customer service and great route choice. Now they can also book their summer 2015 flights even earlier on our improved website and great new app, carry a free small 2nd carry-on bag, enjoy allocated seats, avail of our new Family Extra and Business Plus services, and use their personal electronic devices at all stages of their flight, as Ryanair continues to deliver so much more than just the lowest fares.’
