easyJet, a UK-based budget airline, has launched a New Year flight sale with up to 20 percent discount on 250,000 seats for travel from the UK.
The discounted prices have been available for bookings made since January 3, and will be available until midnight of January 7, for travel between February 1 and July 9, this year.
The airline has cut prices on flights from eleven UK airports to many of its most popular destinations, including Alicante, Moscow, Faro and Tenerife. easyJet’s January sale also includes deals on popular UK destinations, including Belfast, Edinburgh, Jersey and Inverness.

The Mail Online has also reported that easyJet is expected to announce that it carried nearly 4.4 million passengers in December, up more than 3 percent on the figure for the previous year. For the full year 2013, the airline is likely to have carried approximately 61 million passengers.
Amsterdam is said to be the airline’s top destination, with Geneva in second place as a gateway to ski resorts, the report said, adding that Barcelona, Berlin and Nice are also expected to be in the list of top ten destinations.
