The London Assembly, an elected body that is part of the Greater London Authority, has called for a ban on night flights from London’s Heathrow Airport. The Assembly’s health and environment committee has asked for the ban, with an insistence that at the very least night flights should be reduced and the flight path changed. Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced that it has launched a new travel agent booking system. The air carrier said that the system, EYHolidaysConnect, has been launched at an event in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
