Emirates has announced that it will expand its A380 operations with the iconic double-decker returning to Glasgow on March 26, 2023 and Birmingham on July 1, 2023. The airline will also resume its second daily service to Stansted starting from May 1, 2023, using its wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with the ‘Game Changer’ First Class product. London Gatwick has said that Air India will be launching four new routes to Goa, Ahmedabad, Amritsar and Kochi (Cochin), starting from March 26. In addition, Air India has also announced five additional services to London Heathrow Airport. These new routes strengthen the established links between the UK – particularly London – and India. Following strong demand for flights and package holidays, Jet2 has significantly expanded its programme for Summer 23, in its third summer of operations at Bristol Airport. British Airways has said that BA Euroflyer, its Gatwick-based subsidiary, has added Montpellier, Corfu, Mykonos and Innsbruck to its short-haul route network, in addition to a new summer Salzburg service. Montpellier is a new addition to British Airways’ network, operating three times a week in the summer from May 27, 2023. A first-of-its-kind initiative, the multi-branded credit card is expected to be launched in the first quarter of the financial year 2023 – 2024. Following its return to Belfast with the introduction of 12 new routes back in July, Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is now launching four additional routes from the Northern Ireland capital for the spring and summer seasons. Ryanair, the Ireland based European regional airline, has announced two new summer destinations to Kos and Brindisi as part of its Dublin Summer ’23 schedule. The airline said that it would fly to the Greek island of Kos in the Aegean and Brindisi on Italy’s Adriatic coast from Dublin over the summer. Ryanair will fly twice weekly to both destinations, with Kos taking off in May and Brindisi in June, until September. Loganair has said that it will operate three flights per day between Southampton and Newcastle from May next year. The addition of the third daily service follows the success of Loganair’s Summer 2022 season and increased demand for the popular Southampton Newcastle service.
