Newcastle Airport has announced the return of direct flights to Stavanger, as Loganair revives the popular services, reconnecting Brits with Norway. In addition, a brand-new route is set to commence operation on Saturday, 21 May with flights from Newcastle to Bergen, which will further strengthens ties between the Northeast and Fjord Norway. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more flights and holidays to Crete this summer, as customer demand increases to the popular Greek island. The UK’s largest carrier to Crete has added over 7,500 seats to the island with additional services to Heraklion from Leeds Bradford and Birmingham, as well as additional services to Chania from Manchester and London Stansted. Bournemouth Airport has announced the launch of its holiday season with nine sunshine destinations restarting during May. TUI, the airport’s largest operator, has just launched its summer season with plenty of choice for sunshine getaways. TUI has commenced services to Greece and Spain including Crete (May 1), Corfu and Zante (May 2), Kefalonia (May 3), Menorca (May 4) and Rhodes (May 7).
