Cardiff Airport has announced plans for a busy summer 2022 season, commencing Sunday, March 27. The summer schedule, which runs until the end of October, will see more than 25 routes to popular business and leisure destinations as the airport continues to rebuild its connectivity post-pandemic. Flybe Ltd, one of the UK’s newest airlines, will launch two summer routes to France and daily flights to Belfast from Southampton Airport. Beginning July 28, Flybe will operate a twice-daily service to Belfast City Airport. The summer flights to Avignon and Toulon will operate once a week from July 23 and 24 respectively. Dublin Airport has said that Aurigny has commenced services between Dublin and Guernsey. Aurigny will operate flights between Guernsey and Dublin three times a week. This will be Dublin’s first scheduled air service to and from Guernsey. British Airways and Aviation American Gin have announced a new partnership with the Aviation American Gin launching on board. The announcement comes as British Airways is set to launch a new route to Portland, Oregon on June 3. Flights will operate five times a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Qatar Airways has recently announced that it will resume flights to London Gatwick Airport from June 5, 2022. The airline will operate a daily service from Gatwick to Doha using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class. easyJet, the UK-based regional airline, has said that it will be launching a brand new, twice-weekly service to Faro in Portugal. The seats will be available on sale from Thursday March 17, with low fares available from £24.99 one way per person including taxes. Flights will depart on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the summer season between May 1 and October 26, 2022. Southampton Airport has said that British Airways has added a new service to Dublin this summer. With the new service, passengers will be able to fly from Southampton Airport to Dublin, capital of Ireland, and experience its rich history and cosmopolitan culture along with many shops, cafes and restaurants. Norwich Airport has said that flights between Norwich and Exeter resumed on March 7 with Loganair, reconnecting the two major cities for both business and leisure travellers. Loganair, one of UK’s leading regional airlined, will operate the twice weekly direct service between Norwich and Exeter on Mondays and Fridays until March 25.
