Parodying the services available in hotel rooms across the globe, Ryanair has plans to present the service to travellers by logging onto the Ryanair app using their iPads or smartphones. Hundreds of British airline passengers hoping to travel back to Birmingham were left stranded when cabin crew of their Boeing 757 announced during a refuelling stop that the Austrian carrier ‘Comtel Air’ had run out of money. Passengers were left stranded at a layover in Vienna on Tuesday, and were told the only way the flight would continue was if passengers handed over 23,400 euros (£20,005). Hundreds of people from all over Africa are joining a “Caravan of Hope”, which is covering more than 4,000 miles and 10 countries en route to the UN climate talks in Durban, South Africa. From January 1 tourists will be banned from cannabis-selling coffee shops in southern Netherlands to spare locals from drug related anti-social behaviour amongst tourists.
