Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, a leisure airline and UK tour operator, have advanced the start of their Summer 23 season to Rhodes and Halkidiki in Greece, with flights operating from the beginning of April to both destinations.

Jet2 will start flying to Rhodes from April 2 and to Halkidiki from April 1, timed for those looking to get away at Easter. The advancement means Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are operating to the popular Greek destinations earlier next year than ever before.

The extended summer season to Rhodes comes into effect from two UK bases, with flights now commencing from Birmingham, with two weekly services operating on Thursdays and Sundays from April 2; and Manchester with twice weekly services operating on Mondays and Fridays from April 3. In addition to flights operating earlier in the season, customers can also book hotels of their choice from early-April onwards, as well as throughout the summer.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are also operating flights and holidays to Rhodes throughout Summer 23 from Belfast International, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and London Stansted Airports.

Jet2 is also expanding its Halkidiki programme for Summer 23, with an extended summer season. Flights and holidays to Halkidiki will now start from April 1 from Manchester and London Stansted Airports (Tuesday and Saturday services), with weekly Friday services starting from Birmingham Airport from April 7. As well as these additional flights, a range of hotels will also be available for customers looking for an ATOL protected package holiday break.

Customers can also choose from a city break option to Thessaloniki. As Greece’s second city, Thessaloniki offers rich history and culture, a diverse dining scene and some of the best beaches in Greece. Packages with Jet2CityBreaks include return flights with Jet2.com, 22kg baggage allowance and a choice of 2 to 5-star hotels in central locations, to explore the ancient city.

Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO, said: ‘Rhodes and Halkidiki are enormously popular destinations, and there is great demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book or travel earlier in the summer season or getaway at Easter. As the UK’s leading airline and tour operator to Greece, we have reacted to that demand and extended the Summer 23 seasons to Rhodes and Halkidiki, providing customers with the holiday choices that they want. The assurance that customers get from our award-winning flights and ATOL protected package holidays means that we are confident that this April programme to these two popular Greek destinations will be much sought-after.’
