Ryanair, an Irish low-fares airline, has further expanded its winter 2016 schedule at London Stansted, with a new route to Olsztyn Mazury, its 13th Polish airport, in addition to four new other routes to Hamburg, Luxembourg, Timisoara and Toulouse.
As per the schedule, Ryanair’s London Stansted winter 2016 schedule will deliver five new routes to: Hamburg (twice daily), Olsztyn Mazury (thrice weekly), and a daily flight each to Luxembourg, Timisoara and Toulouse.
Surrounded by forests and meadows, the Mazury Lake District in north east Poland is known for over 2,000 lakes, mostly interconnected by rivers and canals. Warmia-Masuria Province offers holidaymakers the peace and quiet of wild forests, natural food, unique historic castles and major military fortifications.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: ‘We are pleased to launch a new London Stansted route to Olsztyn Mazury with a 3 times weekly service, as part of our winter 2016 schedule, which also includes 4 other new routes to Hamburg, Luxembourg, Timisoara and Toulouse, which will help deliver 20m customers p.a. and support 15,000 jobs at London Stansted Airport.’
This new Olsztyn Mazury route is scheduled to suit both business and leisure customers, who have a choice of 110 London Stansted routes in winter 2016, with further improvements under Ryanair’s ‘Always Getting Better’ programme, which includes more new routes, new digital features, and new cabin interiors.
In addition the Irish budget airline has announced two new winter services from London Stansted for winter 2016, Jerez (twice weekly) and Sofia (twice daily). The airline also announced more flights to Alicante (10 weekly), Bordeaux (five weekly), Gran Canaria (six weekly), Lanzarote (five weekly), Malta (four weekly), Nuremberg (two daily), Seville (nine weekly) and daily flights each to Faro and Valencia.
As per the schedule for winter 2016, the airline will operate 110 routes in total from London Stansted, with over 1,000 weekly flights delivering 20 million customers per annum and provide for 15,000 ‘on-site’ jobs per annum at the airport.
