APT has launched an exclusive rate for travel agents, providing an unparalleled opportunity to experience its European river cruises.

Available between May and August 2023, this initiative is part of APT & Travelmarvel’s strategic efforts to increase agent engagement and onboard experiences.

APT has introduced a unique opportunity for travel agents to experience European river cruises at an exclusive rate of £699 per person. This offer is applicable for sailings between May and August 2023. It forms a part of APT & Travelmarvel’s larger initiative to bring more travel agents onboard its vessels, enhancing their firsthand experience and understanding of the product.

The move to offer special rates is aligned with APT & Travelmarvel’s broader strategy to engage travel agents more effectively. In 2023, the company aims to host over 70 agents through familiarisation trips and ship visits. In comparison, the figures represent a significant increase from previous years, doubling the number of hosted agents from 2019 and tripling those from 2022, signalling a strong commitment to agent engagement.

Direct experience on the latest Travelmarvel Contemporary-class river ships is viewed as a vital component for agents in selling these cruises effectively. As mentioned by Brad Bennetts, APT & Travelmarvel’s head of sales and business development, this exposure allows agents to appreciate the features and innovations of these new vessels. It offers a comprehensive understanding of the product they promote, which in turn is expected to lead to increased bookings and higher commission earnings.

Agents interested in booking this exceptional offer are advised to contact the company directly via email. This streamlined communication process emphasizes ease and accessibility, ensuring that agents can secure their bookings efficiently. The strategic provision of these enhanced rates not only promotes business growth but also fosters lasting professional relationships.

As the scheme continues to evolve, APT’s commitment to agent engagement and product immersion might inspire new trends across the cruise industry. This strategic move is expected to position APT favourably in the market, as it leverages an educated and enthusiastic sales force.

The special rate offered by APT marks a significant step in enhancing the travel agent experience. Through direct immersion in their product offerings, agents are better equipped to market and sell APT’s cruises, ultimately benefiting their earnings and professional development.

APT’s initiative to offer reduced rates for travel agents not only enhances professional knowledge but also fosters stronger industry relations.

By enabling agents to experience the product firsthand, APT ensures that they are well-equipped to promote and sell the cruises effectively.
