Explora I, the inaugural ship of Explora Journeys, has commenced its maiden voyage across Northern Europe.

Copenhagen played host to a traditional crest exchange, marking the ship’s first call at a destination. Chief Executive Officer Michael Ungerer expressed the company’s pride in starting this unique journey. Passengers on Explora I are offered a plethora of excursions, such as kayaking through Copenhagen’s waterways and understanding the Shetland heritage pony breed.
The journey includes visiting the Golden Circle in Iceland, cementing its philosophy of offering vibrant and cosmopolitan luxury while exploring remarkable destinations.
After its initial Northern European tour, Explora I will continue to visit Copenhagen and sail towards Hamburg, Germany.
The ship will transition to North America and the Caribbean for the winter season, before returning to Europe for Mediterranean explorations in summer 2024.
As part of future enhancements, Explora II is under construction in Italy, poised for launch in August 2024.
The fleet’s development includes the construction of Explora III and Explora IV, with delivery expected in 2026 and 2027 respectively.
