Phil Gardner, Ambassador Cruise Line’s chief commercial officer, will resign after serving the company for two years.
Joining shortly after the launch in 2021, Gardner has been pivotal in establishing the brand’s commercial strategy and distribution frameworks.

Simon Weeks, the current chief administrative officer, will oversee Nicola Harper, head of distribution, and Dave Eastwood, head of inventory and trading. This strategic shift aims to ensure continuity and further growth.
His time with Ambassador has been described by Gardner as “hugely rewarding,” highlighting the successful establishment of a strong new brand in a competitive market.
He plans to explore new roles at the end of the year, seizing opportunities to build upon his extensive experience in the industry.

Gordon Nardini, chief marketing officer, will now report directly to CEO Verhounig, aiming for streamlined communication and efficiency.
