Regent Seven Seas Cruises has ushered in a new era of luxury with the unveiling of their latest vessel, the Seven Seas Grandeur.

This cutting-edge cruise ship was handed over in a ceremony in Ancona, Italy, reinforcing Regent’s dedication to luxury in the cruise industry.

In a significant milestone for the luxury cruise industry, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has officially taken delivery of its newest addition, the Seven Seas Grandeur. The handover ceremony took place in Ancona, Italy, marking the culmination of a meticulous building process. With its impressive features, the vessel promises to enhance the luxury cruising experience for guests.

The Seven Seas Grandeur boasts a gross tonnage of 55,500 and is equipped with a crew of 548, ensuring exemplary service on board. It can accommodate up to 746 guests, providing one of the highest space and staff-to-guest ratios within the industry. This attention to space and service underscores Regent’s commitment to offering unparalleled luxury and comfort.

During this gala, Sarah Fabergé—great-granddaughter of the famous Peter Carl Fabergé and member of The Fabergé Heritage Council—will act as the ship’s godmother, performing the christening duties.

In September and October 2024, Seven Seas Grandeur will travel to Canada and New England before returning for another Caribbean season towards the end of the year.

Furthermore, Regent’s president, Andrea DeMarco, commented on the ship’s design, heralding its refined style and matchless elegance. She noted that the crafting of this ship satisfies the growing appetite for luxury cruise travel.

The anticipation for its launch stems from the ship’s promise of luxurious surroundings and the highest standards of service, aimed at providing memorable journeys for travellers seeking both adventure and relaxation.
