Riviera Travel has embarked on a significant wellbeing drive, aiming to enhance employee support through innovative partnerships. The company’s efforts focus on the integration of comprehensive support systems for working parents and other members of its team.

Riviera Travel has entered a new phase of employee support by becoming a member of the Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE). This move is part of a broader initiative to improve wellbeing among its employees. A standout aspect of this drive is the endorsement of the Back in Time for Bed (BITFB) initiative, founded by Vicky Billing of Riviera and Anna Perrott from Panache Cruises. This initiative aims to provide advice and support on navigating childcare-related challenges.

Vicky Billing, Riviera’s head of partnerships, is at the forefront of this wellbeing drive. She is supported by Laura Harvey, the people director, and Stuart Milan, the channel director. Their collaborative efforts are instrumental in steering Riviera’s participation in the AWTE and expanding the benefits associated with the BITFB initiative.

In a direct statement, Vicky Billing expressed the importance of these initiatives, stating, “Riviera is committed to taking positive steps to support our whole team to better our work-life balance.” She emphasised the concept of shared experiences, reassuring parents they are not alone in their journey.

Hullah stated, “The wellbeing of each and every team member is a clear priority for us.” His perspective underscores how critical it is for organisations to adapt to the personal and professional needs of their workforce, driving productivity and engagement.

The flexibility in roles not only aids current staff but also positions Riviera as a progressive employer for potential hires. The company’s approach aligns with modern workplace expectations and demonstrates its commitment to employee autonomy and satisfaction.

By promoting open dialogues about childcare and work-life balance challenges, Riviera fosters a culture of mutual understanding and growth. BITFB becomes a touchpoint for broader discussions about the company’s values and its commitment to its team’s holistic wellbeing.

The success of Riviera’s wellbeing drive could inspire similar approaches across the sector, paving the way for more inclusive and understanding workplace environments that meet modern employees’ diverse needs.

Riviera Travel’s wellbeing initiative represents a promising step towards a more sustainable and supportive work environment. By prioritising employee needs and promoting a culture of inclusivity, Riviera sets a new standard within the travel industry.
