Birmingham Airport, one of the busiest airports in the UK, has announced a 12 month partnership with international visa specialist, The Travel Visa Company, as it becomes the preferred supplier of business and tourist visas for the airport’s travellers.

Offering a personalised service for travellers flying from Birmingham Airport, the partnership is intended to ensure that tourists and business travellers have access to the correct documentation needed when visiting countries that require visas. The Travel Visa Company team will provide a service for both corporate and commercial travellers, that includes personally collecting visas directly from embassies and delivering them to customers.

Richard Gill, head of commercial at Birmingham Airport, comments: ‘Birmingham Airport’s range of long-haul destinations has been steadily growing over the years and will be in the position to offer even more choice from this spring with the opening of our runway extension, which will allow aircraft to fly direct to global destinations across the Americas, Africa and Asia.

‘We aim to provide a world class service to our customers and by working with The Travel Visa Company we can offer a specialist visa service for those that require it to make life easier when flying from Birmingham Airport.’

Philip Ashwell, head of sales at The Travel Visa Company, says: ‘We are delighted to have begun working with Birmingham Airport and hope the new partnership will ensure the airport’s travellers are well informed about the complex nature of visas.’

‘Countries have ever changing visa requirements, so it is vital that travellers are kept up-to-date with the alterations. By working with Birmingham Airport, we can ensure the public have all the correct documentation prepared before visiting their destination.’

As the favoured supplier to the UK’s leading travel providers, specialising in both tourist and business visas, The Travel Visa Company has more than 14 years’ experience and longstanding relationships with Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

The Travel Visa Company will feature on the Birmingham Airport website, alongside need-to-know visa information and details on how to apply for country specific visas directly with the specialist.
