UK-based travel companies Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced an expansion of their Summer 24 programme in response to strong demand from holidaymakers and travel agents.

The Summer 24 programme introduces three new routes. From Birmingham Airport, travellers can fly to Tivat, Montenegro, between May 2 and October 31 next year. Montenegro offers a captivating blend of history, culture, and beautiful landscapes, with attractions like Budvar, Becici, and Kotor Bay inviting visitors to explore mountains, natural parks, lakes, beaches, and charming port towns.

The service will start with a weekly Thursday flight from May 2 and a second weekly service on Mondays from July 1. With this addition, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate flights to Tivat from three UK airports during Summer 24: Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted.

Birmingham Airport will also offer flights to Lesvos, Greece, from May 26 to October 6, with a weekly Sunday service. Additionally, a second weekly service will operate from London Stansted Airport during Summer 24. Lesvos, the third-largest island in Greece, allures travellers with its stunning beaches and olive-covered hills, creating an ideal destination for both adventure seekers and those seeking laid-back days in the sunshine.

Additionally, Glasgow Airport will provide flights, city breaks, and holidays to Verona, Italy, from May 8 to September 25, with weekly Wednesday services. Verona’s proximity to the majestic Lake Garda offers customers access to rugged alpine views, idyllic waterfront towns, and lush vineyards. The region offers various activities, including biking, hiking, sailing, and windsurfing, along with opportunities for village-hopping, wine tasting, and al fresco dining. As the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Verona also presents a romantic atmosphere with its pretty piazzas and medieval alleys.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: ‘As well as looking forward to a busy Summer 23, we are also seeing lots of customers want to book ahead for next summer which is great news. In response to that, we are moving to give customers and independent travel agents even more choice thanks to the launch of three brand new routes for Summer 24. This expansion further strengthens a programme which is already our biggest ever, and we know that it will be very popular with customers and independent travel agents right across each airport region.’

Overall, the expansion will bring the total number of routes operated by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to well over 400, available from 11 UK airports during Summer 24.
