    RateGain Announces Lowest Priced Hotels in UK for Current Quarter

    RateGain, a US-based travel technology company, has announced its hotel rate trends for the UK for the three months from April to June 2012.

    The quarterly Hotel Rate Trend reports the cheapest hotel rates, as well as average rates for medium to luxury hotels in the major cities of Europe.

    With regards to UK hotels, the company considered the three cities of Dublin, Edinburgh, and London. The cheapest hotel in Dublin in the medium category in April 2012 is the Days Hotel Dublin Airport, offering a room rate of $37.80 per night. For May and June 2012, the cheapest hotel is the Avalon House, with a lowest rate of $42.40 per night.

    In Edinburgh, the Murrayfield Park Guest House has the lowest rate of $55.60 per night in April, while the Piries Hotel has the lowest rate in May at $76.20, and the Ivy Guest House is the cheapest in June with a room rate of $108 per night.

    In London, The Europa is offering the lowest rate of $26.50 per night in April, while the Days Hotel London North has the lowest rate in May at $40.00, and the Holiday Inn Dartfordbridge has a room rate of $50.80 per night in June.

    Of the five star hotels in London, the lowest rate is offered by the Hotel Rafayel in April, at $78.60 per night, while the Marriott West India Quay is offering lowest nightly rates in both May and June, commencing from $149.70 per room, per night.

    The luxury hotels in Dublin offering the lowest rates in April, May and June are The Lombard Townhouse, Radisson SAS St Helens, and The Conrad International, respectively, with room rates commencing at $88.60 per night. The Edinburgh luxury hotels offering low rates are the Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh, and The Chester Residence.
