The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry, Ireland, is offering a range of new activities for its junior guests in the summer of 2012.

The hotel is offering a number of activities for families with children, including bike trips, picnics on the River Walk, football on the lawn, Mega Chess and the Ritz Kids Games Room, to help keep its young gusts entertained.

The hotel is currently offering a Happy Camper programme where children can opt to spend the night in a tent pitched inside their hotel suite. The offer includes a tent and a sleeping bag, a torch and a special hamper with drinks and snacks.

Young girls would possibly prefer The Little Princess package, with the hotel providing a princess costume and organising a nail painting session at the hotel spa.

The other special offers available for children include limited access to the swimming pool, table ice hockey, table tennis, fuss ball and active dance floors.

The 200-room resort has many other attractions for guests, including two championship golf courses, a 30,000 square foot ESPA spa, a signature Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and an Irish pub. The resort is also equipped as a venue for hosting corporate events and celebrating special occasions, with around 10,168 square feet of meeting and conference space and a private outdoor Secret Garden.

The hotel has been listed on the Conde Nast Traveler US Gold List 2012, as well as being on the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice list for 2012, for its range of special amenities.
