The Trafalgar Hotel, a modern boutique hotel located on Trafalgar Square in the centre of London, is hosting an art exhibition as a continuation of the recent Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The art exhibition, which is to be held within the hotel, will host select artwork depicting the life and culture of Britain, and that of London, its capital city. The artwork currently on display includes dark and moody cityscapes from Steven Spencer, illuminated mosaics from Susan Elliott, and nineteenth century style photographs of London by Dave Hacker.
The exhibit is open until July 25, 2012, to hotel guests and members of the public.
Beat Ganz, the hotel’s acting general manager said, ‘We’re thrilled with the new collection of artwork and know our customers will enjoy these inspiring, fun and iconic works.
We wanted to embrace the spirit of the London at this momentous time, with its history and splendour but with an added twist. The exhibition is a true celebration of Britain, here in the heart of the capital at The Trafalgar Hotel. It is not to be missed.’
The hotel, which is part of the Hilton Hotels and Resorts, is also offering Theatre Breaks for its guests. Located in the centre of London’s theatre-land, with 47 theatres located close by, the hotel’s current offers include accommodation and passes to guests’ favourite theatre shows. Guests can also customise their experiences with the addition of add-ons, such as pre-theatre dining, or a programme decided by a dedicated concierge for celebrating special requirements.
