The Waldorf Hilton, London, a luxury hotel in London, has completed a renovation of its guestrooms, ahead of the 2012 Olympics Games, which begin on July 27, 2012.
The hotel has invested around GBP3.4 million in renovating 100 guest rooms as part of its hotel-wide redevelopment project. The remodelling involves all guest rooms and en-suites, with the intention of providing contemporary facilities for guests.
Peter Beckwith, the general manager at The Waldorf Hilton, London, said, ‘The newly refurbished rooms use the charm and character of the 104 year old hotel to their advantage, providing guests with a unique and elegant place to call home whilst visiting the city. We want to provide a traditionally British experience and aim to offer a slice of the rich history the hotel has to offer to our guests.’
The hotel is located in London’s West End area, close to the exclusive shopping destinations of Covent Garden, Bond Street and Regent’s Street, and is also handily located for London’s financial centre. The hotel’s immediate neighbourhood also provides an exceptionally wide choice of bars, theatres and restaurants.
The hotel amenities include a business centre, a concierge service, a fitness centre, in-room wired Internet services, a swimming pool, and a restaurant on-site. The hotel can also provide around 5,210 sq ft of meeting space for a wide range of corporate or social events.
Celebrating 100 years since the Argentine tango was performed at the hotel, it is also offering a Tango Supper every month, excluding August and September, 2012, for its guests.
