VIBE by Jet2holidays partners with Tom Zanetti to target millennial market

VIBE by Jet2holidays has announced a summer-long partnership with Leeds-born DJ Tom Zanetti.

With the partnership, holidaymakers can enjoy a range of summer residences and parties in some of the most popular destinations across the Mediterranean, alongside a host of VIP giveaways and competitions.

VIBE by Jet2holidays is designed for the growing millennial market and is an extensive collection of over 160 hotels across almost 50 resorts, aimed at first-time holidaymakers, bucket listers, and the over-25s experience-driven market. In addition to this collaboration, VIBE by Jet2holidays is this year’s designated official travel partner of Love Island, the popular show.

As part of the partnership, over 25 VIBE by Jet2holidays x Tom Zanetti partnership events will take place between May and September in destinations such as Majorca, Ibiza, Malia and Zante. These include weekly Friday residencies starting this week at the famous BH Mallorca Resort, with events held in destinations such as Ibiza Rocks, the Crystal Beach Club in Malia and Pure Beachclub in Zante.

Customers will be able to participate in a range of interactive campaigns, including a summer-long social media campaign, livestreams and giveaways. In addition, competitions will run throughout the summer, giving customers the opportunity to win prizes and holidays as well as exclusive VIP access.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays expands summer programme from Birmingham Airport

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, the UK-based leisure airline and package holiday specialist, has announced its latest expansion at Birmingham Airport, with over 2.2 milion seats on sale for Summer 2020.

The company has introduced ten new destinations for Summer 2020 and announced the addition of a fourth additional aircraft into its fleet from mid-July, meaning it will have 14 based aircraft at Birmingham Airport this summer.

With the announcement, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is also adding more flights to popular destinations across Greece, Turkey and Spain during the peak summer season. The extra flying announced includes Skiathos – a brand new destination for Summer 2020, with a new Saturday service offering two services every week; Corfu – with new Monday and Thursday services offering up to six services every week; Kos – with a new Thursday service offering up to four services every week; Rhodes – with up to six weekly services with the addition of new Wednesday and Saturday flights; Zante – with new Wednesday with up to five weekly services; Bodrum – a new Friday service means up to three services every week; Dalaman – with a new Tuesday service, offering up to nine weekly services; Fuerteventura – with a new Tuesday service offering up to five services every week and Ibiza – with new Friday and Sunday services offering up to nine weekly services.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has recently announced expansion of its Summer 20 programme from Birmingham Airport, including ten brand new destinations, four of which are in Greece. These new destinations are Skiathos, Preveza, Kefalonia, Santorini, Murcia, Barcelona, Lisbon, Budapest, Nice and Innsbruck. This is in addition to the popular sunspots such as the Canaries, Balearics, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Italy, France and Malta.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays adds 170,000 departing seats across UK bases

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced the addition of thousands of seats and holidays to winter-sun destinations in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Spain in response to extra demand.

The UK-based travel and holiday company has added over 170,000 departing seats between October and March from across its UK bases, with a major focus on October and the school holidays.

The increase in capacity includes over 65,000 additional departing seats from Manchester, nearly 40,000 additional departing seats from Birmingham, over 20,000 additional departing seats from Glasgow and 15,000 additional departing seats from Newcastle. There are also extra seats on sale from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands and London Stansted. The seats are available for booking currently.

The extra capacity announced includes over 100,000 additional seats now on sale departing to the Canary Islands between October and March. This includes over 50,000 additional seats to Tenerife and almost 40,000 additional seats to Lanzarote as well as more flying to Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.

Nearly 30,000 additional seats have been added to Turkey, with additional flights to Antalya and Dalaman. Further, extra flights have been added to serve several destinations in Greece, including Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Kos and Rhodes – amounting to 5,000 additional departing seats to Greece this winter.

In addition, over 10,000 additional departing seats are available for booking to the Balearic Islands – Palma (Majorca), Menorca and Ibiza. Jet2 has also added more seats to Cyprus, with extra capacity to Larnaca and Paphos, as well as extra capacity to Malta and Reus (Costa Dorada) for winter.
