Starwood Hotels has said that it is planning to open the largest ever Sheraton hotel in Macau.

The launch will see a 3,863-room property taking a position within the Sands Cotai Central complex in Macau. The hotel, christened Sheraton Macau Hotel Cotai Central, will also become the largest hotel in Macau, a Chinese special administrative region. It will be part of the Sands Cotai Central resort complex and will continue to expand its services.
The new hotel will provide a host of new features and services. The hotel company claims that customers can expect lavish space and comfort in the property because of its vastness and size. Features in the new property include more than 20,000sqm of meeting space at the pillar-less Kashgar Grand Ballroom, which is claimed to have the capacity to accommodate up to 5,265 people in a theatre-style seating layout. Food aficionados will have the chance to explore a variety of cuisines at Italian trattoria Bene, two poolside cafes, a roof lounge, and signature Asian seafood restaurant, Xin.
Managers said that when fully completed, the hotel would have 6,000 rooms, casinos, convention space, retail outlets, entertainment and dining options.
