AmaWaterways has introduced enticing incentives for travel agents, linking Valentine’s romance with the thrill of winning a European river cruise. Between the 14th and 29th of February 2024, agents have the opportunity to enter a prize draw with each booking for the year 2024, promising a travel experience through the scenic landscapes of Europe.
The cruise line is also enhancing its Love2Shop scheme. For every double occupancy booking, agents receive £50 worth of vouchers, while single bookings earn £25. These vouchers serve as a nod to the growing success and footfall observed during January 2024, a month marked by significant growth in bookings, which surged by 93% compared to the previous year.
In addition to the voucher scheme, AmaWaterways’ ‘Sell 5, Sail Free’ initiative provides another layer of motivation. This programme rewards agents with a complimentary cruise for two following the completion of five bookings. Andrea Stafford, the Sales Director, emphasised the importance of this initiative by noting the increase in new agencies participating. Despite the influx of existing partners, the number of new agency partners grew by 10% from January 2023. The bespoke consumer benefits offered by AmaWaterways are substantial, with savings of up to £1,500 per couple.
