Carrier’s recent annual awards ceremony in London’s Bafta Piccadilly highlighted a landmark year of achievements and trade successes.

The event underscored strong agent partnerships, praised top performers, and launched a charitable collaboration, marking a successful end to an exceptional year.

Carrier’s awards event was a testament to a year of unprecedented success, lauded by industry veterans. The ceremony saw accolades awarded to outstanding agents, celebrating record-breaking trade sales. Various awards were distributed, including the Luxury Travel Designer of the Year to Jen Lonergan of The Luxury Traveller and Retail Agent of the Year to Travelwise.

High Street Agent of the Year went to More Travel, highlighting its remarkable service standards. The recognition of these agents symbolises Carrier’s commitment to fostering exemplary performance within the luxury travel sector.

Carrier emphasised the importance of robust agent relationships as key drivers for their growth. Managing Director Natasha Towey highlighted the event’s theme of ‘family’, illustrating the depth of their agent connections.

Towey remarked, “These relationships and connections are at the heart of everything we do.” Such statements reinforce Carrier’s philosophy of prioritising quality partnerships over traditional business interactions.

Carrier also acknowledged invaluable employees, granting awards for Outstanding Agent Support to Lucy Boardman and Lorraine Norcross. These individuals were recognised for their dedication and exceptional service.

Their contributions exemplify the internal strength and support that Carrier relies on to maintain its high standards. Boardman’s and Norcross’s roles enhance the backdrop of the company’s external achievements.

Carrier unveiled a novel partnership with the Shinta Mani Foundation, aligning with its ethos of social responsibility. Agents attending the event were invited to enter a draw by donating to this cause, with prizes including a luxury stay in Cambodia.

The ceremony underscored Carrier’s financial triumphs, with 2023 described as a ‘record-breaking’ year, setting new benchmarks for trade sales. Such financial achievements are attributed to their strategic focus on agent collaboration and service excellence.

This thriving financial backdrop sets a robust foundation for future endeavours, as Carrier continues to adapt and grow within the dynamic travel landscape.

The event demonstrated Carrier’s commitment not only to business excellence but also to community and industry leadership. By recognising both agents and in-house talent, the company illustrated a holistic approach to success.

This leadership is exemplified through strategic partnerships and an unwavering dedication to the broader travel community’s advancement.

Through a blend of celebration and inspiration, Carrier’s awards evening fortified its brand image as a leader in luxury travel.

Carrier plans to build on 2023’s successes by strengthening agent partnerships and expanding strategic initiatives, ensuring sustained growth and industry innovation.

Carrier’s annual event not only honoured remarkable achievements but also set a precedent for continued success and strong partnerships.

The company’s future looks promising as it builds on its strong foundations, driven by collaboration and community engagement.
