Hays Travel staff members have taken the spotlight as they feature in a new national TV advert. This initiative underscores the brand’s commitment to showcasing the real people behind its success.

The campaign, filmed at the Sutton branch, includes a diverse cast from various store locations across the UK. It highlights the company’s inclusive culture and dedication to connecting authentically with customers.

In a remarkable initiative to boost visibility, Hays Travel launched a national TV advert featuring 11 of its staff members. This move coincides with the bustling summer lates market, aiming to reinforce the company’s connection with audiences. Filming took place at the newly opened Sutton branch, showcasing the diverse roles within the company, from apprentices to branch managers.

The journey to the TV screen was no small feat, involving auditions for staff members eager to participate. Evelyn McEvoy, known for her professional singing, was among the standout candidates. Michael Astley also impressed with his creative flair, known previously for pioneering TikTok content at Hays. These individuals, along with others from various UK branches, demonstrated notable enthusiasm and commitment during auditions and filming.

Space City, the appointed creative agency, expertly managed cast selections, holding over 30 Zoom auditions to find the right blend of personalities. This meticulous selection process ensured the advert encapsulated the true spirit of Hays Travel’s workforce.

The advert featured Hays agents in engaging scenes, singing to the company’s renowned jingle and portraying interactions with actors posing as customers. Such creative storytelling aligns with Hays Travel’s dedication to both authenticity and audience engagement.
