Alicante is set to become the latest location for an expanding budget hotel chain, with a new property slated to open in 2026.

    • The hotel will feature 97 rooms, joining existing locations in Malaga, Madrid, and Barcelona.
    • Two more hotels in Barcelona and Valencia are anticipated for the coming year, alongside international expansions.
    • This new addition aligns with the brand’s strategic growth in regions where it holds strong consumer recognition.
    • The hotel will offer an affordable option for travellers exploring Alicante and the Costa Blanca.

Alicante has been selected as the location for a new budget hotel, with its grand opening expected in 2026. This development signifies the latest expansion for the property chain, which continues to grow its presence in Spain. The new Alicante hotel is planned to offer 97 rooms, providing economical options for visitors to the vibrant city.

This latest addition will build upon the brand’s existing operations in Malaga, Madrid, and Barcelona. Moreover, further expansion is on the horizon with new hotels planned for Barcelona and Valencia in the next year, alongside the brand’s ongoing growth across Europe.

The company’s chief executive highlighted the significance of brand recognition in Spain, describing the new hotel in Alicante as a critical part of their strategy to expand within regions that already have strong brand awareness. “Collaborating with a local developer allowed us to pinpoint the ideal location near public transport and in a popular city destination,” the chief executive noted.

In addition to the domestic openings, international expansion sees a fourth hotel opening in Zurich and a first in Marseille later this year. This will add to the group’s robust portfolio, which currently stands at 47 properties across Europe.

Alicante’s incorporation into the hotel chain is also viewed as an opportunity to provide travellers with a budget-friendly option for exploring the city and the picturesque beaches of the Costa Blanca. This aligns with the brand’s mission to offer affordable travel experiences, catering to the needs of cost-conscious explorers.

Alicante’s new budget hotel is a milestone in the brand’s strategic expansion across Spain and beyond.
