European Sleeper has successfully expanded its distribution by partnering with Trainline, the leading independent rail and bus travel platform. This strategic move allows European Sleeper to provide a seamless booking experience for travellers opting to explore Europe using night trains. By joining forces with Trainline, European Sleeper positions itself as a convenient and eco-conscious choice for travel enthusiasts.
The ‘Good Night Train’, operated by European Sleeper, runs thrice weekly and connects major European capitals, including Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Dresden, and Prague. Passengers from London and Paris can also access the service through a transfer in Brussels. This network enhances connectivity across key destinations, offering travellers a flexible and comfortable travel option.
The service on the ‘Good Night Train’ includes a variety of seating preferences to cater to different passenger needs. European Sleeper offers standard shared seating, sleeping compartments, and private compartments for groups of one to six people. Additionally, there are women-only compartments to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for female travellers.
A new dining car service is currently being tested on the ‘Good Night Train’ from September 1 to November 1, 2024. This pilot initiative, funded by recent investments in European Sleeper shares, aims to enhance the travel experience and, if successful, could become a permanent feature on the route.
Since commencing operations in May 2023, European Sleeper has transported over 55,000 passengers across more than 260 services. Initially connecting Brussels, Amsterdam, and Berlin, the service expanded to include Dresden and Prague in March. This growth underscores the increasing popularity and demand for night train services in Europe.
The expansion through Trainline marks a significant step for European Sleeper in promoting sustainable and comfortable travel across Europe.
