Discover the new training portal by Palm Beach County for travel professionals, designed to enhance their knowledge and sales capabilities.

    • The portal offers comprehensive modules covering history, geography, lodging, cuisine, and more, leading to certification upon completion.
    • A prize trip for two to Palm Beach is up for grabs for early participants completing the portal’s modules by the end of June.
    • Milton Segarra emphasises the initiative as a testament to the innovation and collaboration within the tourism sector.
    • The launch coincides with a new brand marketing campaign, The Palm Beaches Collection, showcasing the area’s diversity.

The newly introduced training portal by Palm Beach County aims to equip travel professionals with detailed knowledge about the region, enhancing their ability to market the destination effectively. The portal includes meticulously designed modules that delve into various aspects of the area including its history, geography, accommodation choices, culinary offerings, transport links, events, and tourist attractions. Upon completing these modules, participants will receive a certification, highlighting their expertise in promoting Palm Beach as a premier travel destination.

One of the incentives to entice travel professionals to complete the training is the offering of a prize trip to Palm Beach. The trip, designed for two people, spans two nights and three days, inclusive of air travel. This exciting opportunity is available to the first 100 professionals who successfully finish the certification process by June 30.

Milton Segarra, President and CEO of Discover The Palm Beaches, expressed his enthusiasm for the portal, stating, ‘Travel advisors are tremendous ambassadors for our destination, and we’re hopeful they will find ‘The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal’ a valuable resource to help increase awareness of why we are a great place to visit.’ Segarra also emphasised how the innovation will result in significant cost savings for the organisation while solidifying the expertise of travel professionals.

The launch of this educational tool is complemented by the unveiling of The Palm Beaches Collection, a brand marketing campaign designed to highlight the rich diversity across the destination’s 39 cities and towns. This campaign aims to broaden the appeal of Palm Beach by bringing attention to its multifaceted offerings.

The comprehensive initiative enhances Palm Beach’s tourism appeal by combining educational opportunities with innovative marketing strategies.
