    Independent Railbookers Unveils New South America Rail Programme

    Railbookers expands to South America, focusing on Peru and other iconic locations.

    Independent rail specialist Railbookers has proudly announced its expansion into South America, offering a new range of itineraries that primarily focus on Peru and extend to the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador. A total of 21 itineraries are now available, promising travellers an immersive exploration experience of these iconic destinations.

    Travellers can indulge in these well-crafted journeys, with options lasting from eight to 25 days, providing ample time to explore each location thoroughly. Bookings are currently open with departures extending into 2025. This strategic move showcases Railbookers’ commitment to offering unparalleled travel experiences.

    According to Frank Marini, President and CEO of Railbookers, ‘South America – whether it’s Peru, Argentina, the Galapagos Islands or beyond – is a once-in-a-lifetime travel destination for many of our customers and travel agents.’ He added that their product team has curated these journeys meticulously, ensuring the best sightseeing and luxury experiences.

    The itineraries feature prominent sites such as the majestic city of Lima, and the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. Travellers will have an opportunity to marvel at Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake, while enjoying a scenic train ride through the Peruvian Andes that includes gourmet cuisine and live entertainment.

    Railbookers’ collection of train rides includes luxury options such as the Hiram Bingham and Andean Explorer. The journeys promise stunning views and unforgettable experiences, making them a highlight for any traveller seeking comfort and grandeur.

    Antonella Maggi, PeruRail’s Director of Sales and Marketing, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: ‘We are super excited Railbookers Group will be launching Peru as a destination in its portfolio.’

    In addition to train journeys, Railbookers’ Peru itineraries offer luxurious cruise options to the Galapagos Islands and river cruises exploring the Amazon rainforest. These packages are all-inclusive, covering internal flights and transfers, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

    For example, the eight-day Essential Peru – The Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu itinerary starts at £4,999, inclusive of flights, private transfers, train travel, and accommodation, offering a comprehensive package for discerning travellers.
