Inghams Ski celebrates its 90th anniversary with a new campaign focusing on its expertise and heritage.

    • The campaign draws inspiration from a 1980s TV advertisement as it unveils its ‘we know how’ message.
    • New destinations accessible by train for the 2024-25 season include Morzine and Avoriaz.
    • Over 30% of Inghams ski resorts are now reachable by rail, with new options in Italy and Switzerland.
    • Managing Director John Mansell highlights Inghams’ commitment to innovation, customer service, and ethical practices.

Inghams Ski is marking a significant milestone with its 90th anniversary, celebrating nearly a century of expertise in the ski and travel industry. The company has launched a new advertising campaign that spans TV, digital, and social media channels, reinforcing its core message of ‘we know how.’ This campaign is heavily inspired by a retro TV advert from the 1980s, aiming to highlight Inghams’ longstanding commitment to quality and service.

The campaign’s timing coincides with the introduction of new destinations for the 2024-25 ski season, including Morzine and Avoriaz, now available as travel options by train. This expansion signifies a focus on sustainability, as it enables a significant portion of their customers to reach ski destinations without the need for air travel.

Currently, Inghams offers train travel packages to four countries and 22 resorts, making over 30% of all its ski resorts accessible by rail. This season, new resorts such as Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo in Italy, and Nendaz in Switzerland, have been added to the portfolio, expanding the choices for its clientele.

Additionally, to commemorate its 90 years, Inghams Ski provides an extra £90 off all holidays on top of existing deals, making it a compelling option for ski enthusiasts looking for quality and value.

Managing Director John Mansell emphasizes that the company’s long-standing tradition is rooted in a deep passion for skiing and the great outdoors. He stated, “Ever since Walter Ingham was inspired to take his first group skiing to Austria back in 1934, we have been working hard to share our passion for skiing and the great outdoors, which is why this campaign is such an important celebration of the last 90 years.” He further added that the company’s future focus includes collaboration with hotel partners, ethical consumption management, and the preservation of ski destinations and communities.

Inghams Ski continues to celebrate and innovate after 90 years, reinforcing its commitment to quality and sustainability.
