Latin Routes has introduced Guatemala as the latest addition to its destination offerings, complementing recent additions in Central America.

    • With plans to cover all of Central America by the end of the year, the operator has launched three new itineraries featuring Guatemala.
    • Currently available offerings include an 18-day tour combining Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico, along with two other itineraries focused on Guatemala alone.
    • The new packages aim to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes of Guatemala, including ancient Maya ruins.
    • The expansion strategy underscores Latin Routes’ commitment to providing diverse travel experiences in Central America.

Latin Routes has strategically expanded its destination portfolio by introducing Guatemala, reflecting its ambition to cover all of Central America by the end of the current year. This move follows the recent inclusion of Belize and anticipates adding Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador soon.

Three new itineraries have been unveiled, offering travellers unique experiences across Guatemala. The highlight is the ‘Route of the Maya,’ an 18-day excursion starting at £7,399. This itinerary intricately combines the cultural and archaeological richness of Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico, focusing on ancient sites, lakes, and local culture.

In addition to this extensive tour, the ‘Highlights of Guatemala,’ a 10-day journey, and the ‘Guatemala Explorer,’ a 13-day exploration, provide in-depth experiences of Guatemala’s cultural history and natural beauty. These tours are crafted to provide a comprehensive view of what Guatemala has to offer in terms of landscapes and heritage.

Cat Davies, Senior Product Manager at Latin Routes, highlighted, “Guatemala is known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and ancient Maya ruins, offering a unique and unforgettable holiday experience.” The inclusion of Guatemala aims to augment tourists’ experiences by creating opportunities to explore multiple Central American destinations in a single trip.
