Playa Hotels & Resorts is set to fortify its team with the strategic addition of Nicola Francis as the market manager for the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Bringing over 17 years of industry experience, Francis is prepared to oversee operations starting from July 1, predominantly enhancing agent engagement and orchestrating face-to-face events.
Francis will focus on delivering effective marketing strategies and forming solid partnerships with key operators. Her role is imperative in managing relationships with across 24 properties in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic, and she will represent the brand at independent events and host agency store visits.
With a strong background in Caribbean hotels including Hyatt, Francis is charged with overseeing product news, incentivising rewards, and spearheading new property openings through comprehensive brand development.
In addition to her extensive experience, she will implement interactive webinar training sessions designed to enhance agent competence and product familiarity across Playa’s portfolio.
