Caledonian Leisure welcomes The Torbay Hotel in Torquay to its expanding hotel portfolio.

    • The Torbay Hotel becomes the third property under the Caledonian umbrella.
    • The hotel’s rebranding signals a key strategic move for Caledonian Leisure.
    • The Caledonian Torbay Hotel aims to uphold strong customer loyalty with repeat visitors.
    • Future package offerings are planned via various brand channels and travel agents.

Caledonian Leisure has recently added The Torbay Hotel, a 111-bedroom establishment located in Torquay, to its ever-growing portfolio. This acquisition marks the third property managed by the company, joining the ranks of The Caledonian Claymore Hotel in Arrochar and The Caledonian Tower in Blackpool. The strategic move highlights the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in key UK destinations.

With its rebranding to The Caledonian Torbay Hotel, the property will embrace a new identity while continuing to serve its loyal clientele. Graham Rogers, Managing Director of Caledonian Leisure, expressed enthusiasm by stating, ‘Adding The Caledonian Torbay Hotel to our collection is another exciting development for our business.’ This change represents a commitment to growth and offers a fresh chapter for both the hotel and the company.

The Torbay Hotel has historically been a favourite among guests, with both Caledonian Travel and UKBreakaways brands reporting frequent bookings over the years. Caledonian Leisure anticipates that the rebranding will not only retain this loyal customer base but also attract new visitors seeking quality experiences in a charming seafront location.

As part of its future plans, Caledonian Leisure aims to introduce a variety of packages for guests at The Caledonian Torbay Hotel. This will be facilitated through its own brand channels, digital platforms, and a well-established network of travel agents. The integration of these packages is expected to enhance guest satisfaction and drive business growth.
