An informative webinar series by Visit USA Association aims to benefit the UK travel industry.

    • The free sessions will be held every Tuesday starting from 17th September 2024.
    • Various representatives will host the webinars, including city attractions and destination experts.
    • The events are open to all industry professionals for improving knowledge about selling USA destinations.
    • Significant prospects include insights from high-profile destinations and attractions.

The Visit USA Association (UK) is set to launch a series of free webinars aimed at supporting the UK travel trade industry. This initiative begins on September 17, 2024, and will occur weekly on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM. These webinars are crafted to impart valuable knowledge to various professionals within the UK travel sector.

Kate Kenward, the Chief Executive of Visit USA Association (UK), endorses the webinars as essential tools not only for the members of Visit USA but also for the broader UK travel industry. She states, ‘The webinars are not just for Visit USA members but for the UK industry at large.’ This statement emphasises the inclusive nature of this educational initiative.

Each session will be hosted by a different member of the association’s UK team, encompassing representatives from renowned destinations and significant city attractions. This variety ensures a comprehensive educational experience for participants, addressing a range of topics relevant to selling the USA as a destination.

The initial webinar will be conducted by travel app Vamoos, with subsequent sessions featuring high-profile attractions and destinations such as New York’s Summit One Vanderbilt, Alabama, Capital Region USA, Travel Oregon, Florida’s Space Coast, Los Angeles, Orlando, and the Rockefeller Center. Such a line-up not only promises to convey crucial insights but also aims to enhance the attendees’ familiarity with key American tourism hotspots.

The association expresses hopes that the travel trade will set aside a half-hour every Tuesday to capitalise on these talks. Kenward adds, ‘Everyone is welcome, whether they are new to selling the USA or just in need of a quick

    knowledge top-up.

‘ This reflects the event’s adaptability to cater to both novices and seasoned professionals in the travel industry.

This educational series by Visit USA offers a valuable opportunity for the UK travel sector to expand its knowledge on American destinations.
