The Advantage Travel Partnership is set to host its largest cruise conference to date, from 24th to 27th October.

The event will take place on the Ambassador Cruise Line’s ship, Ambience, sailing to Amsterdam and will feature prominent industry leaders.

More than 180 delegates are anticipated at this milestone event. Attendees will include senior figures such as Ambassador Chief Executive Christian Verhounig, Royal Caribbean International’s UK and Ireland Senior Sales Director Aaron Langford, and Princess Cruises’ UK and Europe Vice President Eithne Williamson.

The conference promises a robust business content programme. Topics will span all sectors of the cruise industry, with a significant focus on the lucrative ‘yet to cruise’ segment, identified as a key growth area for members. Jonny Peat, Advantage Cruise Commercial Manager, highlighted the importance of this sector for expanding business opportunities.

Delegates will embark on a ‘no-fly’ cruise experience to Amsterdam. This choice of destination and mode of travel has been a major draw for attendance. The conference aims to provide both learning and destination enrichment, delivering a comprehensive cruise experience.

Ambassador’s Divisional Sales Manager, Louise Tansey, expressed the company’s enthusiasm. She said, “We are delighted to partner with Advantage to host the prestigious Latitude Cruise Conference on our Amsterdam City Break sailing.” Tansey highlighted the exclusive Ambassador moments planned for delegates, emphasizing exceptional service, outstanding cuisine, and unique entertainment offerings.

The event will offer valuable networking opportunities with some of the highest-profile figures in the industry. Workshops and business sessions will be integral, offering delegates the chance to gain insights and strategies from industry leaders. The combination of business content and real-time cruise experience sets this conference apart.

The focus on the ‘yet to cruise’ sector is seen as a major opportunity for growth. This initiative underscores the potential for expanding the cruise market by attracting new customers. Advantage aims to leverage this potential to aid their members in growing their cruise business effectively.

The Advantage Cruise Conference on Ambassador’s Ambience aims to set a new benchmark in the industry. With a blend of intensive business content, experiential learning, and top-tier networking, the event promises to be a significant milestone for both Advantage and the participants. The strategic focus on emerging market segments, especially the ‘yet to cruise’ sector, highlights a forward-looking approach designed to drive future growth.

The forthcoming Advantage Travel Partnership cruise conference aboard the Ambassador’s Ambience holds the promise of being a landmark event, combining strategic business sessions with immersive experiences.

This gathering is expected to harness significant growth opportunities within the cruise sector, especially by engaging the ‘yet to cruise’ demographic.
