    A remarkable four per cent rise in the first quarter has propelled the organisation to new heights, highlighting its commitment to expanding its influence and providing value to industry professionals.

    Record Membership Growth

    Clia UK & Ireland has reported a significant milestone with its membership reaching the highest level it has ever recorded. The organisation now boasts around 10,000 agents following a commendable four per cent rise in the first quarter. This growth is attributed to increased engagement from industry professionals and reflects positively on the efforts made by the organisation to expand its reach.

    Enhanced Training Initiatives

    The association has seen a striking 22% increase in agents who have completed at least the first level of Clia training courses year-on-year. This surge underscores the commitment of professionals in enhancing their skills and knowledge base, ensuring they remain competitive in the ever-evolving cruise industry.     Sold-Out Events

    Clia’s three significant events scheduled for April and May have reached full capacity, indicating robust interest and participation. These events include an expedition cruise event in Dublin, an expedition summit in Greenwich aboard the Seabourn Venture, and a river cruise dinner in Glasgow. The overwhelming response highlights the industry’s eagerness to engage in networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities. Delegates will have the opportunity to tour two ships over consecutive days, selecting from a total of seven available vessels.
