Fred Olsen Travel recently honoured its elite sales agents with an exclusive incentive: a luxurious journey aboard Silversea’s Silver Ray.

Eight top-performing agents, each contributing over £1 million in sales, were rewarded with this exceptional four-night voyage. This initiative aimed to recognise and boost morale amongst agents.

The rewarded agents embarked on Silversea’s Silver Ray, experiencing a panoramic journey through the Adriatic Sea. This cruise, commencing from Venice and concluding in Dubrovnik, included fascinating stops at Trieste, Zadar, and Split. Onboard, agents relished in refined accommodations and gourmet offerings, alongside guided explorations and unstructured time to appreciate the luxury vessel’s amenities.

Emily Jacobs, one agent who qualified, could not attend. However, this event marked the inaugural VIP trip for these elite sellers, traditionally awarded a financial bonus.

Silversea, represented by Connie Georgiou and Donatella Valzasina, played a pivotal role in orchestrating this journey, emphasizing its impact on agents and charting a course for prospective collaborations.

The luxury cruise spurred competitive spirit within the organisation. It instilled a sense of pride, motivating others to aspire to join the esteemed ‘Millionaires Club’.

The targeted growth reflects broader trends in luxury travel demand, with Fred Olsen Travel positioning itself as a key player in this sector. It aligns with the firm’s ambition to enhance average booking values.

Such tangible achievements are a testament to the firm’s effective strategies and rising clientele demand for superior travel experiences.

Participating agents savoured enriching experiences on the Silver Ray, engaging in unique activities such as cooking sessions in the ship’s S.A.L.T. Lab, which added an educational yet leisurely dimension to their journey.

This successful venture underscores the value of rewarding excellence and strategic partnerships, setting a benchmark for similar initiatives. The path forward appears promising for both Fred Olsen Travel and Silversea.
