Holbeache Travel is set to celebrate 40 years in business with its largest event to date.

The agency invites 200 guests, including long-standing clients and key supplier representatives, to a Hawaiian-themed party.

    Unprecedented Hawaiian-Themed Celebration

Holbeache Travel, located near Stourbridge, Birmingham, is gearing up for an unforgettable event to mark its 40th anniversary. The celebration, which will be held at DK Rugby Club in Wall Heath, is set to be the agency’s biggest event ever.

The Hawaiian theme promises an evening of vibrant décor, tropical outfits, and engaging activities. The event will include live music and a delightful array of food, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone.

    A Selective Guest List

According to joint managing director Lucy Hall, the guest list is highly selective, focusing primarily on loyal clients who have supported the agency over the years. “We’ve had to be quite selective about who we invite, and they are mostly regular clients that we have had for years and years,” Hall explained.

The event aims to express gratitude to these clients, as well as welcome new customers to the Holbeache Travel family. Importantly, some local representatives of key suppliers are also invited, ensuring a well-rounded attendee list.

    A Gesture of Appreciation

Lucy Hall emphasized that the primary goal of this grand celebration is to thank their clients. She stated, “If it wasn’t for our clients, we would not be here 40 years down the road, and we want to thank our new customers too.”

This event is purely an expression of gratitude from Holbeache Travel to its community, acknowledging the critical role that customer loyalty has played in its success.

The agency has previously organized pop-up shops and travel shows to generate business, but has never before hosted an event of this scale. This initiative marks a significant milestone and a unique way to connect with clients.

    Overcoming the Pandemic Challenges

The agency’s current success comes after surviving what Hall describes as the ‘dark days’ of the Covid pandemic. This period was notably the most challenging in their 40-year history.

Thanks to resilience and continued client support, Holbeache Travel has managed to not only survive but thrive post-pandemic. The upcoming event serves as a testament to their recovery and ongoing prosperity.

Founded by Roger Lunn, who started the business in a portacabin, Holbeache Travel has grown considerably. Now located in a small parade of shops, the agency has a rich history and a promising future.

    Longstanding and Dedicated Team

Lucy Hall herself is celebrating her 30th year with Holbeache Travel, having started on a Youth Training Scheme straight out of school. Her journey within the company speaks volumes about its supportive work environment.

Another staff member has dedicated a decade to the agency, while a newer employee has reached their one-year milestone. An apprentice joined the team in February, highlighting the agency’s commitment to nurturing new talent.

This blend of experienced and new staff ensures that Holbeache Travel continues to offer exceptional service to its clients.

Event Details and Social Media Engagement

The event is scheduled for September 20, and attendees are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian-themed attire. The venue, DK Rugby Club, is eagerly preparing to host this landmark celebration.

Live updates and highlights from the event will be shared on Holbeache Travel’s social media platforms, providing an opportunity for wider community engagement. The agency is actively using this celebration to bolster its brand presence online.

Looking Forward to Another 40 Years

With this grand celebration, Holbeache Travel is not just marking 40 years of success but also looking forward to the future. The agency continues to evolve, staying relevant in a competitive industry.

The dedication of its staff and the loyalty of its clients form the bedrock of Holbeache Travel’s ongoing achievements and aspirations for the coming years.

Holbeache Travel’s 40th anniversary celebration is a fitting tribute to its journey of resilience and growth.

This Hawaiian-themed event epitomizes the agency’s commitment to its clients and its thriving future.
