Not Just Travel has reported an impressive 36% annual sales increase, highlighting a trajectory of robust growth. This achievement was disclosed during the company’s largest-ever annual conference, held in Stratford-upon-Avon over the weekend.

During the conference, attended by over 400 agents, 50 corporate team members, and 40 key trade partners, significant milestones were shared, including the recruitment of nearly 250 new agents last year, doubling the number from the previous year.

    Significant Growth and Future Plans

Not Just Travel has experienced a substantial 36.6% rise in annual sales, a testament to its market presence and effective strategies. As stated by co-founder Steve Witt, who described this growth as “phenomenal,” the company expects this upward trend to continue through peak seasons and beyond.

A key factor contributing to this success is the focus on the cruise sector. Over the past year, agents have significantly increased their cruise bookings, leading to higher commissions and improved profitability for franchisees. Witt also mentioned ongoing initiatives aimed at making members even more profitable.

    Record-Breaking Event

The company’s recent conference was its largest to date, underscoring the franchise’s expanding network and strong industry relationships. The event drew more than 400 agents, 50 corporate team members, and over 40 key trade partners.

Speakers at the event included Hays Travel chair Dame Irene Hays, who highlighted Not Just Travel’s rapid growth and adaptation to industry trends. She emphasised the franchise’s impressive focus on the cruise market, which has yielded significant results.

    Recruitment Milestones

Last year, Not Just Travel welcomed nearly 250 new agents, which is double the number from 2022, reflecting the franchise’s appeal and strong recruitment strategies.

Other remarkable performers include Gaynor Speakman with over £1.7 million in bookings, Ben Casey with over £1.5 million, and Gemma Outram, who managed £1.5 million in cruise sales while working part-time.

    Leadership and Vision

Derek Jones, a non-executive director at Not Just Travel, discussed the company’s strategic direction and future initiatives. He stressed the franchise’s commitment to innovation and rapid growth as it embarks on a new era.

Jones mentioned upcoming ground-breaking initiatives aimed at sustaining the company’s growth trajectory and enhancing service delivery.

    Strategic Initiatives

The company is implementing various programmes designed to increase profitability and support agents’ success. These initiatives are expected to drive further growth and solidify the franchise’s market position.

Steve Witt highlighted that the focus on the cruise market, among other strategies, has been particularly effective, noting that agents now make twice as many cruise bookings per day compared to the previous year.

Dame Irene Hays praised Not Just Travel for its foresight in adapting to future industry demands, particularly emphasising its success in the cruise market.

Her statements reinforced the overall positive sentiment about the company’s strategic direction and commitment to innovation.
