easyJet, a UK-based low fares airline, has announced its winter schedule for 2015, with a record number of flights and routes available for booking now at easyJet.com.
According to a release by the airline, more than 78,000 flights are expected to take place to and from the UK between October 25, 2015, and February 28, 2016, providing 13,045,080 seats. The airline launched over 22 million seats on March 31 across the entire easyJet network, offering customers the benefit of low fares by booking early.
Sophie Dekkers, easyJet’s UK director, said: ‘We’re pleased to be putting winter 2015 on sale for our passengers today, allowing them to book early and take advantage of our lowest fares to the ski resorts as well as to the cities and beaches across Europe.
‘With our record 750+ routes on sale, passengers have more choice than ever on where to spend their winter. easyJet flies to popular ski and winter sun destinations at high frequencies because this allows travellers to depart on the day they prefer and choose the length of holiday to suit them.’
For a holiday break this coming winter, customers can choose from a number of destinations including: Belfast to Alicante from GBP26.99, Bristol to Geneva from GBP24.99, London Gatwick to Copenhagen from GBP32.99, Liverpool to Faro from GBP25.99 and Manchester to Amsterdam from GBP28.99. Fares are per person, one way, based on two people travelling on the same booking.
Operating flights on most of Europe’s popular routes, easyJet carries over 65 million passengers annually, of which more than 12 million are travelling on business. easyJet has bases across 11 UK airports and currently has over 750 routes on sale to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Russia – 370 of which touch the UK.
According to easyJet, its passenger carbon footprint is 22 percent less than a passenger on a traditional airline, flying the same aircraft on the same route.
